Known for surprising his fans this time too Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh did the same thing by trying his hands on commentary during India-Pakistan match in Champions Trophy 2017. Accompanied by former Indian cricketers Virendra Sehwag and Sunil Gavaskar, Ranveer Singh was present in the commentary box. As the rain stopped the match midway he jokingly asked the other commentators that since the match has stopped it’s time for him to go out and entertain the audience.

As the moment finally came on June 4 when the India vs Pakistan, began and a huge number of people kept their eyes on their TV sets. Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and invited Virat Kohli & Co. to bat first. The old day opening pair of Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma were back and they were expected to smash the Pakistan bowling attack led by Mohammad Amir. However, the first over went maiden but both the batsmen didn’t loose the grip.

Shikhar and Rohit gave a slow start though but they were steady at the same time. Both of them took their time to get settled and then played in a way which they are known for and hit some classic shots which went out of the boundary line.

By the end of 10th over, India had managed to put a total of 46 runs without losing a wicket but as speculated earlier, rain played the spoilsport and interrupted the game. The players have to rush back to the dressing room while the covers were called on.
