It seems that Pakistan still has to continue singing the famous ‘Mauka Mauka‘ song until they face India once again in some ICC tournament and try hard to beat us. However, as of now, the party begins here in India as it’s the first time that India has beaten Pakistan in ICC Champions Trophy under Virat Kohli’s captaincy. Moreover, it’s India’s victory over Pakistan which is no less than a festival now. Though the rain forced the game to end at the midnight still, we Indians are more than happy.
In today’s game, the way Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh and Hardik Pandya batted was truly world-class. It seemed that Indian players were the only one on the ground who took this game seriously despite stating it continuously before that they would treat it like just another game. On the other hand, Pakistan lacked the intent when they came to bat in the second innings and chase a huge total of 324 runs off 48 overs. They were in so hurry that they just wrapped up the thing within 164 runs and lost the game by 124 runs under DLS rule.
Now, let’s have a minute and think about the Pakistani fans. Our neighbours are quite popular in the entire world for smashing their TV sets when they lose such big game to us.
