Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh praised Virat Kohli-led Indian team for thrashing arch-rivals Pakistan in the Group A match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 at Edgbaston Cricket Stadium in Birmingham on June 7. India thrashed Pakistan by 124 runs by DL method in a rain affected game. India will now face Sri Lanka on June 8 at The Oval. The match will start at 3 PM IST.
“The Virat Kohli-led squad is definitely playing like champions and they showed it in their first game,” Harbhajan Sing told India Today, adding that all-round performance from bat and ball led India to a victory.
“Too happy to see Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma scoring runs, and of course, I was so happy to see Yuvraj Singh batting out there and the way he hit those shots it’s just amazing to see. When Yuvraj gets going it’s impossible to stop him,” Harbhajan Singh said.

Asked about picking up his playing XI for the Sri Lankan encounter, Harbhajan Singh said he will play with same XI as against Pakistan.
“I would play with the same XI because everyone played really well against Pakistan including Hardik Pandya. The same XI gives us more batting and bowling options with Pandya and one spinner Ravindra Jadeja.”
