Indian cricket fans still haven’t been able to digest Team India’s loss to Pakistan in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. The moment India lost the game, people in different regions of the nation took to the streets to protest against the men-in-blue by breaking TV sets, burning their posters and generally creating enough noise to ensure the message reaches Team India. Even on social media, the Indian team was criticised for their unexpected loss to Pakistan in the final match of the Champions Trophy in a vindictive fashion they totally did not deserve. Within a fraction of a second, our national heroes were declared the biggest disgrace, just because they lost one match in an otherwise successful tournament.
However, the scenario in England was totally different. A huge number of people arrived at the Oval to watch the game and after India lost and Pakistan won, fans accepted the situation wholeheartedly. A video went viral in which a group of Pakistani and Indian cricket fans could be seen enjoying together while travelling in a subway train. They could also be seen singing Punjabi songs together and dancing with each other in the train. The best part of the video is where they are chanting ”Hindustan Zindabad, Pakistan Zindabad” and “We love India, we love Pakistan”. The video was shared on a Facebook page called ‘Voice of Ram’ and has garnered more that 56K shares with 2-3 days.

Apart from these cricket fans, the players have also moved on from what happened to them on June 18. After the game ended, skipper Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh were seen having some fun moments with Pakistani players. Later, the kids of Pakistani players had a leisure time with the Indian legends.
And now, the fans who are in India have to understand that it was just a game like any other. If India has lost it on that day, they are capable of winning many in the near future. So let’s not lose hope and support out Team India.
