Colin Munro’s inning of 109 runs off 58 balls against India in the 2nd T20I against India played a crucial role in keeping New Zealand alive in the ongoing series. The Indian’s probably had not expected this kind of batting from the Kiwi opener. With his best T20I inning, Munro not only grabbed the Man of the Match award but also helped his team leveling the series 1-1. Virat Kohli’s magnificent 65-run inning went in vain after India lost the 2nd game in Rajkot by 40 runs.
Bot the Kiwi openers, Martin Guptill and Munro gave a terrific start as they made a 105-run partnership for the first wicket. Though, the Kiwis had to go through two wicket losses, Munro made sure that his batting should benefit his team the most. After the end of 20 over, the Black Caps posted a massive total of 196 runs while Muro remained unbeaten on 109.
Meanwhile the Twitterati hailed his ferocious batting against the Indian bowling attack. At the same time, some of them compared him with glass cleaner spray Colin, saying that “wiped and cleaned the Indian bowling attack”.

People from the cricket fraternity appreciated the way he batted and set his highest score in T20Is:
Big score put up by NZ. India will have to come out all guns blazing. Great hitting from Colin Munro & gr8 death bowling from Bhuvi ,Bumrah

Top innings from Colin Munro, but India have done well to restrict NZ to 196.Last 3 overs for only 22 was a top effort from Bumrah and Bhuvi
