The stage is all set for the 12th edition of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup which is scheduled to begin on January 13 in New Zealand. A total of 16 teams are going to participate in this mega ICC event including major ones like India, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka among others. A lot of new faces will be seen on the grounds of New Zealand battling for the world title. Also, sons of former cricketers like Steve Waugh and Makhaya Ntini are going to feature in the Australia and South Africa teams respectively.

On the inaugural day, four matches will be played – Pakistan vs Afghanistan, Zimbabwe vs Papua New Guinea, Bangladesh vs Namibia and New Zealand vs Windies. The Indian team will face Australia on January 14 at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui where the final will also be played on February 3.
