Happy Birthday MS Dhoni: Virender Sehwag’s message to MS Dhoni gets over 2800 retweets in 2 hours

MS Dhoni will celebrate his 36th birthday with teammates like Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane and Umesh Yadav in West Indies

India’s most successful captain MS Dhoni turned 36 on July 7. As he is celebrating his birthday today, his former teammate Virender Sehwag, known for his witty comments on social media, took to his official Twitter handle to wish his former captain. MS Dhoni, who is currently a part of Indian squad which is in West Indies for 5 One Day Internationals series and a T20 match, will celebrate his birthday with teammates like Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane and Umesh Yadav among others.

Virender Sehwag, who recently applied for the post of head coach of the Indian cricket team following Anil Kumble’s resignation due to rift with skipper Virat Kohli, wrote on his Twitter handle: “To a man who has given Indian fans innumerable moments of joy, #HappyBirthdayMSD May the helicopter continue to fly and land in our hearts.”

Besides Sehwag, Dhoni’s current teammate Yuvraj Singh too wished him on Instagram. Yuvi shared a picture of himself with MS Dhoni and captioned it as: “Many happy returns of the day to Mr. Helicopter @mahi7781 have a great day buddy, the cake awaits you #happybirthday #cakesmash.”

Both Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag were the part of the Indian squad which lifted the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011 under the leadership of MS Dhoni. Team India lifted the prestigious trophy after waiting for 28 long years.
