Harbhajan Singh, the legendary Indian spinner, has finally talked about the decision taken by the Mumbai Indians (MI) franchise to release him ahead of the eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Recently, the MI think-tank decided to retain Rohit Sharma, all-rounder Hardik Pandya and pacer Jasprit Bumrah for the upcoming season and released all others. Harbhajan, who has been an integral part of the Mumbai franchise since the beginning of this cash-rich tournament in 2008, talked about what is he expecting from the mega auctions on January 27 and 28.
In an interview with Times Now, Harbhajan expressed to be back at the auctions after 10 long years is a completely different experience. He said,
“I was in the auctions when IPL started and after 10 years, I am back at the auctions. It’s a different feeling altogether. I have played all my cricket for Mumbai Indians 10 years. Now I don’t know which team I will be in.”

However, Bhajji also assured that he “would give his 100 percent for whichever team he gets a chance to play for”.
Harbhajan has been preparing hard for his comeback on the national side. Recently, he played with Yuvraj Singh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 series. He performed with both the bat and the ball on several occasions during the tournament. They even defeated Rajasthan in their last game but couldn’t make into the finals. Rajasthan entered the finals due to a better net run-rate.
