After exhibiting her on cricketing skills in the Women’s Big Bash League T20 (WBBL) in 2016, the Indian Women’s T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur gains another feather in her cap. It’s a woman box cricket tournament which is being hosted by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

The 28-year old cricketer will be playing as an overseas player for the Stars along with Australia’s Rene Farrell and Marizanne Kapp of South Africa. These three will together be completing the quota of the foreign players in the team.

The second season of the Kia Super League (KSL) is going to commence on August 10 with six teams participating in the tournament. Initially, there will be knockout rounds and the top-ranked team will directly enter into the final. On the other hand, the second and third-ranked team will fight to book their birth in the finale.

Earlier in 2016, Harmanpreet also became the first Indian cricketer to be selected for an Australian T20 league. She played for the Sydney Thunder and performed phenomenally in the tournament and score a total of 296 runs in 12 innings at an extraordinary average of 59.20.
