Hasan Ali has evolved as one of the best fast bowlers in the world. Ali rose to fame with his performances in ICC Champions Trophy 2017 which brought Pakistan back into the tournament. The Pakistani fast bowler is still carrying on his brilliant form in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2017 playing for Comilla Victorians against Dhaka Dynamites. Ali fired yorkers to Dhaka batsmen and got wickets. He picked up a five-wicket haul but that was not the only feat he achieved in the match.
The 23-year-old became the second bowler in the world to have taken five wickets in a T20 match by knocking over the stumps of every batsman. The only bowler who has achieved the similar feat is Rubel Hossain, who did this in 2010.
Here is the list of batsmen Ali knocked over –
Wicket 1, Evin Lewis: The Windies opener is one of the most destructive in the business. Lewis had scored one six already in the first over and was once again looking to get off to a flier. Ali came round the wicket and fired a yorker on the first ball of his spell. Lewis could not understand the length of the ball and ended up getting beaten all ends up.
Wicket 2, Mehedi Maruf: The Bangladeshi uncapped player had no answer to Ali’s full-pitched outswinger. The ball uprooted the offstump from the ground. He got out for a duck in the same over as Lewis got out.
Wicket 3, Mosaddek Hossain: He may have had the experience in T20Is but Ali did his job when brought back into the attack. Once again, he bowled a yorker and Hossain played down the wrong line to an inswinger losing his wicket. Ali also signalled him to walk back to the dressing room in the heat of the moment.

Wicket 4, Saddam Hossain: The 22-year-old went for a big shot over the long on but his bat met thin air. The ball whizzed past the bat uprooting the middle stump from the ground. Bringing Ali in the 19th over worked for Victorians.
Wicket 5, Abu Hider Rony: Another inswinger and another wicket added to Ali’s bowling figures. The inswinging delivery once again rooted the middle stump. Ali kissed the pitch as he had got his first five-wicket haul in BPL 2017.

Dhaka Dynamites got bundled out for 128 with Sunil Narine top-scoring with 76 from 45 balls. The lowly score did not dampen their spirits as they came back strongly. Comilla Victorians got past the total with two balls to spare in a thriller of match, thanks to Shoaib Malik’s half-century.
