ICC T20 Ratings: India slip to 4th in T20 ratings, New Zealand is at ONE!

Having dropped six points, India are now on 118 points, three behind second placed England and third placed Pakistan

After India became No. 3 team in One Day Internationals, Virat Kohli and Co. have dipped in the lately released T20I rating. India have slipped from No. 2 to No.4 in the ratings. It seems nothing is going Virat kohli’s way since his shoulder injury. He is the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore and the team is already out of the playoffs race as the tournament is midway through.

The biggest leap was made by England who climbed 3 spots after gaining 7 points but are still four points behind table-topper New Zealand, who are on 125 points despite dropping two points. The Eoin Morgan-led side has got seven points and climbed three places to sit behind table toppers NZ who have 125 points.

The rankings will decide the fate of the direct entrants for the 2020 World T20 to be played in Australia. Excluding the hosts Australia, nine highest ranked teams will qualify automatically for the marquee event.
