The pin-up boy of Indian cricket, Virat Kohli was seen carrying drinks into the field and he was doing it with a lot of eagerness and pride. The Indian skipper had picked up a freak shoulder injury, which kept him out of the crucial Dharamsala decider, which rounds up India’s successful home season. Well, some reports that are pouring in suggest that Virat Kohli did not play the Test as he will be representing the Royal Challengers of Bengaluru in 10 days time. Knowing Kohli and his passion for the game, his pride of representing the country is unparalleled.
This is not the first time that a star cricketer has been reduced to a mere waterboy. There have been instances in the past as well. The most famous name to have ever carried water into the field has to be the legendary Don Bradman.

Donald Bradman: The legend of the game, who is considered to be the epitome of batsmanship, even Sir Donald Bradman carried drinks in a Test match way back in 1928.
Sachin Tendulkar: Well, not many know that the demigod of Indian cricket has also been a waterboy in 2004 versus Australia in Bengaluru.
Then Sachin Tendulkar was carrying drinks for his team mates in Bangalore Test v AUS. (in2004) (due to tennis elbow)
