India vs Australia, 1st ODI, Live Streaming, Where to Watch and TV Timings IST

There are talks that rain could play spoilsport but it has not rained for the past 24 hours but predictions are of light showers

India host Australia in the 1st One Day International of a 5-match ODI series. The first match will be played at Chennai. This will be a litmus test for the Indian team, who have been facing lighter opponents like West Indies and Sri Lanka in the past three months, but Australia is a team that has the strength to upset India. For certain, going by current form, India starts favourites. David Warner and Steve Smith will be making their India debut in coloured clothes. For the hosts, the big setback would be the absence of the in-form Shikhar Dhawan, who has been in the maverick form off late. Dhawan also bagged the man of the series award in Tests in Sri Lanka.

Australia is not in the right frame of mind after their dismal performance against Bangladesh. But they bounced back against the Board Presidents XI, crushing them, more importantly, David Warner found some form, which is good from Australia’s point of view.

In India, you can go to Hotstar.com for live streaming of the match, which will be 5 minutes delayed if you are not a Premium customer.

STAR Sports will broadcast live the India vs Australia matches on their channels – STAR Sports 1 and 3. There will be both English and Hindi feeds. You can see the matches on STAR Sports 1 and 3 HD too.

The match will start at 1.30 IST.
