BCCI makes a massive GOOF UP on Twitter. Did you spot it?

With Australia playing for pride, it is a great opportunity for India to whitewash the current world champions

India has already taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the 5-match One Day International series. With a whitewash looming large, the fourth ODI has become crucial for the visiting team to win. While Australia is set to play for pride, India will have a great opportunity to test their bench strength. Virat Kohli had made it clear that he had his eyes set on the 2019 cricket World Cup and would be experimenting with the Indian lineup. Virat wants a pool of 20-25 players ready to play in the World Cup. With the Indian team on a dream run, it seems things are falling perfectly into place for India. Team India is already number one in Tests and One Day Internationals and would be hoping to reach the top spot in T20Is as well, which is currently occupied by New Zealand.

As we speak, India is taking on Australia for the fourth ODI at Chinnaswamy stadium. But just before the match, BCCI made an update on their Twitter account, which later turned out to be a massive goof up.

So what was it?

As is a norm now the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted the toss update on their Twitter handle for their 5.3 million odd followers. But instead of the 4th ODI, the caption read- ‘1st Twenty20. Australia won the toss and elect to bat’.

It is strange to commit such an error when you have so many people following you. Here is the screenshot of the tweet we are talking about.
