Hardik Pandya, who bagged a couple of Man of the Match awards and the coveted Man of the Series award for his brilliant all-round display in the recently concluded One Day International series against Australia, on October 5 took social media site Twitter by storm after he posted his selfie with a ‘special girl’. In his Twitter post, Hardik said that it was an honour for him to get clicked with this legend ‘Amul Girl’.
Hardik Pandya, who is now preparing for the T20 Internationals against Australia, wrote on Twitter: “What an honour to get a selfie with this legend #AmulGirl.”
Amul girl refers to the advertising mascot used by dairy brand Amul. The Amul girl is a hand-drawn cartoon of a young Indian girl dressed in a polka-dot frock with blue hair and a tied up half pony.

Pandya has played 13 ODIs so far and has scored 530 runs at an average of 56.83. Also, he has scored 100 runs in 19 T20I he played so far. He picked up 4, 29 and 15 wickets in Tests, ODIs and T20Is respectively.
Earlier, India thrashed Australia 4-1 in the five-match One Day International series. Meanwhile, Team India will be taking on Steve Smith-led side in three T20 Internationals starting from October 7 at Ranchi.
