Harsha Bhogle gets treated with abusive language on Twitter, asks his followers to shut him up!

A Twitter user used abusive language against commentator Harsha Bhogle and found himself on the receiving end of the trolls

Harsha Bhogle is one of the most renowned cricket commentators of the world. Bhogle is treated with respect from players all around the world even if he criticises them during their play. India’s legendary batsmen too took his criticism in a constructive manner. The commentator has a huge fan following and even Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was criticised for sacking him for a while. A Twitter user named Helio was not happy with Bhogle’s pronunciation of Hardik Pandya’s name, and he pointed out that it should be ‘Paandya’ and not ‘Pandya’, in the process, he ended up using foul language with Bhogle which did not go down well for him.

Here’s what the Twitter user tweeted-

@bhogleharsha Dude man. As an Indian, u shud know how to say Indian names right. It’s Paandya not Pandya. Pls it’s f**ing annoying 2 da ear

— helio (@heliophilos) September 24, 2017

Bhogle did not want to foul mouth himself and go on a rant to make a point. But he did ensure that the Twitter user who tried to get the better of him gets the treatment he deserved. He tweeted in reply to the abusive language-

Does anyone want to tell this poor fellow he might need to be corrected? https://t.co/tWmzdF2yRe

Twitterati were quick to respond to the disrespect shown to Bhogle. They ensured that the Twitter user thought twice before doing something similar. Here are the pick of the tweets-

The Twitter user whos bio reads ‘I am watching everything’ will be careful from now onwards before tweeting against Bhogle. Though he apologised to the commentator later on-

Meant no disrespect 2 u by using da f wrd. U r my fav commentator. I Apologize 4 it. Nevertheless, annoying

— helio (@heliophilos) September 24, 2017

Bhogle has been back in the commentary box since the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017. His analysis and knowledge of the game are well informed. He can put a few statisticians to shame as he has been watching the game closely for decades. The 56-year-old is active on Twitter as he tweets regularly expressing his views on a particular match or an incident.
