The India vs Australia ODI series came to an end as Virat Kohli & Co. win the dead rubber 5th ODI by 7 wickets. India also regained the top spot in ICC ODI Rankings. There were four players who got rewarded for their performances in the 5th ODI and the series. India won the series by 4-1 and it is the 6th bilateral series win on the trot. India dominated Australia in every department of the game and end the series on a high. Here are the list of awards from the ODI series-
1. Axar Patel (Rs. 1 lakh)
Axar Patel took three wickets in the 5th ODI in his 10 overs and giving just 38 runs. He picked up the crucial wicket of David Warner who had already scored a half-century. He got the wickets of Peter Handscomb and Travis Head. He got awarded the bankable player of the match.
2. Rohit Sharma (Rs. 1 lakh)
Rohit scored 125 runs from 109 balls featuring 11 fours and 5 sixes in his innings. He did not score a single run in the first 14 balls but ended up scoring his 14th ODI century. He got awarded the ‘Man of the match’.

3. Nathan Coulter-Nile (Rs. 2.5 lakhs)
Coulter-Nile picked up 10 wickets in the five-match ODI series and picked up the most numbers of wicket in the series. He picked up a wicket in the 5th ODI as well and bowled economically. He got the wicket of Kohli two times in the series. He got awarded the bankable player of the series.

4. Hardik Pandya (Rs. 2.5 lakhs)
The Indian all-rounder has been a revelation of the India vs Australia ODI series. He picked up 6 wickets in the series and scored 222 runs in the series which included 2 half-centuries. Pandya got awarded the ‘man of the series’. Skipper Kohli feels that he is the biggest positive of the tournament.
