India beat Australia by 9 wickets with 3 balls to spare to take a 1-0 lead in the 3 T20I series. The match was being played at Ranchi, which is MS Dhoni’s home ground. Virat Kohli won the toss and put Australia to bat first. Australia got off to a nightmarish start, losing stand-in-captain David Warner in the first over. There on in Australia kept losing wickets at regular intervals and no substantial partnerships were stitched and that set Australia back. The match was stopped due to rain when Australia were 118 for 8 with 8 balls to spare. Rain refused to go away and hence when it stopped India needed just 48 runs to win in 6 overs.
But the moment of the match we are putting our focus on is when Finch was set for a big score, it was India’s latest spin sensation, Kuldeep Yadav, who struck gold. Finch, batting on 42, premeditated the incoming delivery from Kuldeep as he relied mainly on sweeping the Chinaman. He was playing down the wrong line one felt. Finch certainly was bamboozled. It was the regular leg break which Finch could not pick up. The ball went straight through the gate to disturb the timber. It was a big wicket in the context of the game. Probably that is when Australia lost the plot in the match.
Here is the video of the event that transpired.

Aaron Finch was the highest scorer for Australia, he scored 42 runs. From the India side, Kuldeep and Bumrah were the pick of the bowlers, they scalped 2 wickets apiece. Indian fielding also has to be complimented for being discipline and India also clean bowled 6 batsmen of the visiting team.
With India needing 48 off 6 overs, they too got off to a horrendous start, losing Rohit Sharma early, but Virat and Shikhar saw India home with 3 balls to spare.
