Ravichandran Ashwin's response to Indian fans over stone thrown at Aussie team bus, proves he is a true Indian!

It is high time we act responsibly as citizens of India. Such incidents will only hurt the reputation of the country at the global stage

After Australia beat India by 8 wickets to level the series 1-1, an unprecedented event happened in which a stone or a small rock was thrown at the Australian cricket team bus. It also broke the window of the bus and luckily none of the players were left injured. Aaron Finch took to Twitter to talk about the episode and express his shock. This is an episode that reminds us of the Sri Lankan bus attack by armed assailants in Lahore. The incident that happened with the visiting team raises concerns about the safety and security of players, which is of utmost importance.

The Aussie opener took to Twitter to post a picture of the broken window pane with the caption, “Pretty scary having a rock thrown through the team bus window on the way back to the hotel!!”

In his twitter post, the 31-year-old R Ashwin wrote, “The stone thrown at the Aussie team bus shows us in bad light, let’s all act more responsibly. A vast majority of us are capable of that.”

The next tweet read, “We are a country that treats ours guests with great respect and hospitality.”

Meanwhile, Behrendorff ripped through the Indian top order in the 2nd T20I with the new ball as he picked up 4 crucial wickets to dent India’s chances of putting on a big total. What this does is, it sets up the finale clash with all to play for India should come out all guns blazing.
