Rodney Hogg makes SHOCKING revelation about Steve Smith, accuses him of bias

Virat Kohli will be pressing for a whitewash for certain and hence he will keep the Aussies under pressure

Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team have taken a handsome 3-0 lead in the ongoing Australia series. The Indian team is in spectacular form, thanks to the youngsters in the Indian setup like Kuldeep Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal. Virat Kohli has already established a blueprint for the 2019 cricket World Cup lineup. On the other hand, the Australian team, who happen to be the current world champions, are having a woeful time in the subcontinent. They were first humbled by Bangladesh and now they have not managed to score a single win in India. With Ashes around the corner, these problems need to be addressed as soon as possible. Meanwhile, former Australian cricketer Rodney Hogg has made a statement accusing Australian captain Steve Smith of favouring friends over performers in the team.

Rodney claimed that the likes of Ashton Agar, Hilton Cartwright, and Nic Maddinson continue to be playing in the national side owing to their good relations with the skipper. He was quoted as saying,

They’re picking their mates. (Ashton) Agar’s been pushed through and Cartwright’s still there. We saw (Nic) Maddinson get selected (he’s) a mate, he’s one of Steve Smith’s mates. You can’t pick bloody mates!

Rodney also emphasised that there should be fairness and transparency when it comes to selecting the team. He felt that Jon Holland could have been a better option than Ashton Agar in the subcontinental conditions.

Meanwhile, the Indian team is showing their professionalism as they have taken to the ground in Bengaluru for training. Bumrah was seen hitting the wickets and trying to sharpen his yorkers. MS Dhoni was doing a little bit of hitting just to flex his muscles and keep them well-oiled ahead of the fourth ODI.
