India had a good first session on Day despite Murali Vijay playing an unnecessary shot at the stroke of lunch and getting out for 82, missing a well-deserved century. He got out for 82 and India are at 193/2. Well, the buzz of the hour is that Virat Kohli will be coming out to bat after the lunch break. Kohli is raring to go into the field after he got injured in the 40th over on Day 1 while trying to save a boundary.
India still trail by 258 runs but they have a good start, or one should call it an ideal start. Although KL Rahul and Vijay missed their centuries, they have provided the start India needed to get back in the game. With the clouds of uncertainties clearing over Kohli’s availability, India have a very good chance on taking the lead.

Pujara is trying to break free after he played a rather cautious innings in the first session, he is currently batting on 40. He will be joined by Kohli in the middle. But the major concern for India is the pitch as it has started to deteriorate and expected to help spinners as the game progresses. ALSO READ: India vs Australia, Day 3, Ranchi Test highlights

Nathan Lyon and Steve O’Keefe are trying everything from bowling into the rough and bowling from round the wicket. He got the wicket of Vijay from coming over the wicket and dropping the length back, getting him to miss the ball and enforce a stump out dismissal.

Smith has not introduced Glenn Maxwell yet, their part-time bowler. He has done well with the bat, Smith as well try him out with the ball as the ball gets old and starts helping the spinners.
