Australian cricket team led by Steven Smith has finally arrived in India for a One Day International series and a short T20I series. The Indian team, who were in Sri Lanka have returned home and are taking a short break before they hit the nets. Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team has been on the road ever since the ICC Champions Trophy. They surely are a well-oiled machine. The Australian cricket team, on the other hand, have had a dreadful tour of Bangladesh. So, emotions will be contrasting in both the camps.
Virat Kohli has already indicated that he has his eyes set on the 2019 cricket World Cup, hence Kohli trying different permutation combination could be on the cards. Players like Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav have been the big plusses from the Lankan tour and a lot would be expected from them when they take on Australia from the 17th of September.
According to a website, Crictracker, it shows that Steven Smith and Co. have arrived in India. Presumably, they have landed in Chennai. Chennai happens to be the venue for the first One Day International as well.
