Former and present skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli had a moment to savour on the field during the first One Day International at Wankhede. MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli have played a lot of cricket with each other and hence both the cricketers respect each other a lot. It was pretty evident on the field of play on October 22, when Virat Kohli walked up to MS Dhoni to take a fly, we suppose out of MS Dhoni’s eye. It is a moment to treasure for all cricket fans, who look up to the two cricketers as heroes. The Indian total was 149 for 4 after 30 overs. This happened during the change of overs.
Earlier in the day, India won the toss and opted to bat first in the 1st One Day International against New Zealand. The match is being played at the Wankhede Stadium. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan opened for India, but it seemed that the problem of India facing left-arm seam continues as Dhawan and Rohit fell prey to Trent Boult, who got the visitors of the dream start they must have been hoping for. India was soon reduced to 29 for 2, with the star openers back in the hut for 20 and 9 respectively. Boult and Southee were bowling well as a pair as Indian skipper Virat Kohli walked into the middle for his 200th One Day International. Virat walked into the middle to a rapturous welcome. Kohli was joined by Kedar Jadhav, to which people took offence as they felt Dinesh Karthik should have been slotted in there.

In the video, one can see that MS Dhoni takes off his helmet to allow the Indian skipper to take that fly of his eyes, Kohli obliges and does it just like a friend would.
In the meanwhile, Virat Kohli is appearing in his 200th ODI, which is a big feat for any cricketer.
