Bollywood actress Richa Chadha has yet again delivered a message on social media and this she is supporting the Indian Women’s Cricket Team. On July 2, the Indian Women’s Team will be playing Pakistani Women’s Team in Derby in their third game of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2017 and ahead of the game, Richa has extended her support the Indian ladies and have also asked her fans out there to support the Indian women’s team as they do for the men’s team. She urged that the people should support teams irrespective of the gender.

Richa Chadha took to her official Instagram account where she shared a selfie video asking people to support the Indian Women’s team. She shared the video with a caption saying,”Come on! Show your support for team India !!! Sorry my home is by the sea, extremely windy… #iwokeuplikethis #womensworldcup come on! @bcciwomen #girlpower #womensports #sportswomanspirit #cricket #sport.”

In the video, she said:

“Two Sundays ago, India played against Pakistan for the Champions Trophy and we lost. The roads were empty, shops were shut, it looked like a national holiday but it was just the finals. I want to ask people something, do you even know the Women’s World Cup is happening right now? And Indian women’s team will be playing tomorrow (Sunday).

We should support our team irrespective of the gender. So, I am here trying to support the Indian women’s cricket team and I hope you will show as much enthusiasm as you did for the men’s team. Go India.”

Here comes another Sunday and yet another India vs Pakistan in England. But this time, it’s women’s team who will be facing each other. Though men’s team lost the Champions Trophy finals on June 18, however, this is a fair chance to recover from the humiliating defeat faced two weeks ago.
