India vs Pakistan, Women’s World Cup 2017: Take revenge of Champions Trophy loss, Indian fans urge Mithali Raj & Co.

Ahead of the India vs Pakistan clash, the Indian fans have all their support for our brave ladies and faith as well that they will definitely maintain their winning streak and take the revenge of the Champions Trophy loss

The Indian cricket fans were highly disappointed after Team India lost the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 finals on June 18 to Pakistan. It took really a long time for all of them digest that defeat while some people also appreciated the efforts put by Pakistan. And now, after almost two weeks to that huge, once again the Indian cricket team is going to take on Pakistan. But this time it’s the women’s team who are going to face each other in the Women’s World Cup 2017 in Taunton and we Indians are highly expecting that the Women’s team should take the revenge of the Champions Trophy loss.

Ahead of this clash, both the teams are poles apart in terms of performance in this tournament so far. Indian women’s team kickstarted their world cup journey with a massive victory over the English hosts. The Indian ladies beat the Englishwomen by 35 runs grabbed 2 points. In their next game against West Indies, they outplayed the Caribbean girls and defeated them by 7 wickets.

In both the games, opener Smriti Mandhana played superb knocks of 90 and 106 runs respectively while currently, she is the second highest run-getter of this tournament. Secondly, skipper Mithali Raj is in best of her forms and have played phenomenally good in both the matches.

As far as the Pakistani team is concerned, they are still fighting hard to open their account in the tournament. Sana Mir & Co. have lost all their games so far and are at the last position in the points table. They lost their first game to South Africa women by 3 wickets and second to England by 270 runs.

Some positives included a superb inning of 79 by opener Nahida Khan against the Proteas and a sure-footed unbeaten fifty by opener Ayesha Zafar against England. However, the Pakistan women’s team failed to save both the games and now, on July 2, they are all set to face the in-form Indian team.

At this point of time, it’s going to be a game between the 2nd and 8th numbered team from the World Cup Points Table and the Indian crowd has all the support for our brave ladies and faith as well that they will definitely maintain their winning streak. But as an Indian fan, I would wish that the Indian women must take the revenge of what happened on June 18 in London.

Meanwhile, the media of both the nations have been backing their respective teams for the forthcoming clash. The Pakistani media hoping to witness a miracle while their Indian counterpart is backing the national superheroes to conquer their next mission.
