A well-set Virat Kohli’s innings at Port Elizabeth during the 5th One Day International was cut short when he succumbed to a run-out. Kohli was out for a decent 36 and that put India on the back-foot straightaway as the new batsman had to walk in and then get set on a pitch that was not helping new batsman.
Thankfully Rohit Sharma got his form back and he took Team India to commanding position following his 115-run knock.
Though Rohit played a sensible knock after series of low scoring innings in the ongoing SA tour, he again became a butt of jokes on Twitter, this time for his involvement in a mix-up leading to run-out of the Indian captain who was in his prime touch.
