MS Dhoni, 183* vs Sri Lanka, 2005, Jaipur: MS Dhoni had already announced himself with a breathtaking 148 against Pakistan at Vizag, but it was against Sri Lanka that he was promoted up the order as India was chasing 298 to win. His innings was studded with 10 sixes and 15 fours. During those days, such an innings was a rarity, but that is why he is what he is. India emerged victorious by 6 wickets.

Virat Kohli, 183 vs Pakistan, 2012, Dhaka: Five years ago Pakistan was a strong side with some big stars in their line up. Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat. They scored 329, which looked like an improbable chase, but Virat Kohli had other ideas. Virat Kohli scored a scintillating 183 off 148 balls to see India home with 13 balls to spare. His innings comprised of 2 sixes and 22 fours, a typical Virat Kohli knock, one may say!
