Virat Kohli and Co. registered a massive win over the Lankans in the first Test of the 3-match series on July 29. They defeated Sri Lanka by 304 runs on the fourth day of the game and recorded their biggest victory ever in a Test away from home. Team India set a mammoth target of 550 runs for the hosts to chase after Virat Kohli knocked his 17th career century. The in-form Indian bowling line-up dented Sri Lanka’s batting order and clinched the game.

Starting with Shikhar Dhawan (190) and Cheteshwar Pujara (153) and then Ajinkya Rahane (57), Hardik Pandya (50) who all helped to put a giant score of 600 in the first inning. While in the second, Abhinav Mukund finally spoke with the bat after a long time and Kohli knocked his 17 ton in Test matches.
