MS Dhoni was the talk of the town as India whitewashed Sri Lanka 5-0, by winning the last One Day International at Colombo. MS Dhoni got his 100th stumping and created a world record, pipping Kumar Sangakkara on his way to the top. It was Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 110 and Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s five-for that helped India cruise to another win. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who was under scrutiny and was speculated on whether he should feature in the 2019 cricket World Cup or not, answered his critics in the best way possible, by allowing his bat to do the talking. MS Dhoni helped India cross over the line in the second ODI when India was precariously placed at 131 for 7 and led them on to chase 231 and win with a commendable effort.

But what made serious news was the fact that MS Dhoni, the uber cool next door cricketer, drove the entire team India in a Multix car, which was Jasprit Bumrah’s Man of the Series prize. In fact, MS Dhoni rode the car as if it was his. We already know Dhoni’s love and passion for bikes and cars, and we got to see that again. This literally caught the eye of the Twitterati who did not waste time in putting up funny memes on the act.
