Ravindra Jadeja’s emotional tribute to Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni on Twitter becomes most retweeted tweet of all time!

India's Ravindra Jadeja has claimed the top ranking among the all-rounders in Test cricket for the first time

Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja thanked current Indian captain Virat Kohli and ex-skipper MS Dhoni for their support after he reached the top rank among the all-rounders in Test cricket for the first time. Jadeja dethroned Bangladesh’s all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan to claim the top spot. He achieved this feat after he claimed 7 wickets in the second Test match against Sri Lanka at Colombo which included a five-wicket haul in the second innings. He also played an important knock of 70 not out. Team India won the match by an innings and 53 runs.

Jadeja is now No.1 in two ICC Test Rankings. He was already leading in ICC Test bowler rankings and now he is leading the all-rounder rankings as well. Not only in the second Test match, the left-arm spinner did well in the Galle Test as well, picking up 6 wickets (3 in each innings).

Jadeja, who faces a one-match ban for throwing the ball towards Malinda Pushpakumara during Colombo Test, took to his Twitter handle to thank his captains. He wrote: “My humble journey 2 be #1 Test AllRounder & bowler was possible due 2 @msdhoni @imVkohli, my fans & family #bcci #icc #teamindia #rajputboy.”
