Virat Kohli won the toss at the second match in the ODI series and India opted to bowl first. Indian lineup remains unchanged after thrashing hosts Sri Lanka in the first One Day International at Dambulla. One player who has been the talk of the tour is Shikhar Dhawan, who has scored more than 1000 runs since his comeback in the Champions Trophy. He has amassed 4 centuries in the past three months. Sri Lanka got off to a good start at the crease. The Lankan batsmen were on a scoring spree, however, it was interrupted when Dickwella lost his focus as well as his wicket.
Niroshan Dickwella has been the only batsman who has come off as a significant threat to the visitors. Apart from him, everybody has had to struggle. The score was 41 in 7 overs when Bumrah had the ball in his hand. Bumrah pitched one up, which came off as a cutter. Dickwella spooned it in the air and for a fraction of a second, it seemed the ball might elude Shikhar Dhawan, who was positioned at short mid wicket. He jumped in the air, caught hold of the ball and was careful to not loosen his grip when he fell to the ground. But what caught our attention was his style of celebrating. He thumped his thighs, just like the kabaddi players do after a successful raid or a tackle. He was jubilant, which was apparent in the way he rejoiced. Niroshan Dickwella, who was looking threatening and equally ominous in the beginning, was ousted from the crease. He scored a breezy 31 off 24 balls, he also hit two sixes and three boundaries.

This is how Twitter reacted on his breezy little knock:

As we speak, Sri Lanka is reeling at 141 for 5 in the 33rd over. Siriwardena and Kapugedara are at the crease.
