Chris Gayle all-set to make a comeback against India in T20’s!

It seems like Gayle's return has a lot to do with Lendl Simmons being out-of-form against Afghanistan, he got scores of 6, 17*, and 15

Chris Gayle is all-set to make a comeback, yes you heard it right. The World Boss who did not feature in the recent T20’s vs Afghanistan, will return against India, soon. The match which is slated to take place at his hometown of Jamaica on 9th of July. It seems like Gayle’s return has a lot to do with Lendl Simmons being out-of-form against Afghanistan, he got scores of  6, 17*, and 15. These scores meant the board retorts back to his old-warhorse.

“We welcome Chris back to the T20 squad. He is the most prolific batsman in this format and will add value to our team at the top of the order. He will get the chance to play on his home ground and against a top-quality Indian team,” quoted Browne. He also believes Gayle’s addition to the side will boost them.

Gayle was last seen by his fans playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. There he was not in good form. He is the leading run scorer in T20 cricket and has the most number of sixes to his name. He also has the most number of T20 tons to his name. Gayle last played for the Windies team in the ICC World T20 final against England in 2016.

Chris Gayle is someone who loves to chill out and that is how he succeeds, by just staying relaxed. West Indies have made a comeback in the ongoing One Day Internationals, the hosts have made a comeback by winning the fourth ODI after losing the second and the third.
