The Virat Kohli-led Team India will be eyeing on winning the ODI series against West Indies after they take on the Caribbean hosts on July 2 in the 4th match at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. The men in blue are already leading the series by 2-0 while Mahendra Singh Dhoni has a fair chance to be the best wicket-keeper in the world. In today’s game, not only he could surpass former Sri Lankan wicketkeeper Kumara Sangakkara but also create a unique world record being a wicketkeeper.

In order to be the best wicketkeeper in the world, MS Dhoni needs 2 more stumpings to overtake Sangakkara as the wicket-keeper with most stumpings in ODI cricket. Also, if he does two stumping in today’s game, he would be the only wicketkeeper in the world to become the first wicketkeeper to register 100 stumpings in ODI cricket.

Till now, Kumar Sangakkara has done the most number of stumpings in ODIs, which is 99. While the number of stumpings done MS Dhoni in the ODIs so far is 97.

Surpassing Adam Gilchrist in terms of number of Half-centuries in ODIs
Became the only Indian batsman to have hit 200 sixes in ODIs
Surpassed Mohammad Azharuddin in terms of total number of runs as an Indian captain
Second Highest run-getter in the world as a wicketkeeper batsman
