Former England captain Michael Vaughan faced the heat on Twitter for his ‘sarcastic’ remarks on Indian team after their win over England in the first T20I at Manchester on July 3.
Virat Kohli & Co outclassed hosts in every department after they registered an 8-wicket win to lead the three-match series 1-0.
England batsmen started off well after being asked to bat first. But, they failed to read Kuldeep Yadav’s unconventional wrist-spin and they could only manage 159 for 8 in their quota of 20 overs.
Kuldeep picked up 5/24 to became the first left-arm wrist-spinner to take a five-fer in T20I.
In reply, KL Rahul stuck a magnificent century, his second in T20I, to guide team India to an easy win over Englishmen.
After India’s brilliant bowling display, Vaughan took to Twitter to praise ‘Men in Blue’ by ‘sarcastically’ comparing them with the Australians. He wrote:

Vaughan’s this ‘sarcastic’ tweet did not go down well with Indian cricket fans and they reminded him of England’s recent defeat to Scotland in a high-scoring ODI.
