IPL 2017: Steven Smith accuses Team India of APING Australian policy under Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli also came under the fire of the Australian media who called him innumerable names also going to the extent of drawing parallels of him with Donald Trump

Rising Pune Supergiant captain Steve Smith must be a happy man today after their 9 wickets victory against the Kings XI Punjab. Last month, Australian captain Steven Smith was the biggest villain in India after he got into the DRS controversy which also featured Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli also came under the fire of the Australian media who called him innumerable names also going to the extent of drawing parallels of him with Donald Trump.

Steve Smith basically wanted to say that under Virat Kohli, Team India play aggressively, something that Australians have done till ages. He also reckoned that Kohli could be the captain of India for a long time.

It seems now that everything has cooled off he is at it again. In a recently concluded interview, Smith said, “Australian cricket hasn’t changed a great deal. We have always tried to play an up-tempo and positive brand of cricket. We were always trying to take the game on and be sort of entertainers and try and be as positive as possible.”

“India, I think, have adopted a similar mindset, they try to be very aggressive in how they go about things and that certainly seems to be Virat’s approach. I think it’s a great way to play cricket. There has been a little bit of a shift in India’s approach. There is a lot more aggressiveness on the field and a bit of banter here and there, which is always fun,” he added.
