The officials of the Indian Premier League on February 14 announced the schedule of the 11th season of the IPL. Defending champions Mumbai Indians will face two-time winners Chennai Super Kings in the opening match of the season 11 to be played at the Wankhede Stadium.
The tournament will witness total 60 matches and the finals will be played between the winner of Qualifier 1 and the winner of Qualifier 2 at the Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
After a 2-year-ban following the spot-fixing scandal, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals are making a comeback into the cash-rich league.

Fans in Chennai and Jaipur will get their share of the IPL frenzy as M. A. Chidambaram Stadium and the Sawai Mansingh Stadium will host home matches of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals respectively.
