Bollywood actress and Virat Kohli’s wife, Anushka Sharma posted an emotional tweet to convey her wishes to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) cricketer AB de Villiers who announced his retirement from all forms of cricket with immediate effect.
Anushka, who is currently shooting for Zero opposite Shah Rukh Khan, took to her official Twitter account hours after ABD announced his decision. She wrote:

Anushka’s tweet went instantly viral as it fetched over 1K retweets and over 6K likes.
Earlier, ABD posted a video on his Twitter handle to announce his decision to retire from all forms of cricket.

ABD featured in 114 Tests, 228 ODIs and 78 T20Is for South Africa and has scored 8765, 9577 and 1672 runs respectively. He averages more than 50 in Tests and ODIs. Mr 360 degree has 47 international centuries and 109 half-centuries to his name.
Besides Anushka, cricketers from around the world including Sachin Tendulkar, Allan Donald, Virender Sehwag among others conveyed their best wishes to the former South African captain on Twitter.
ABD’s RCB teammate and Indian captain Virat Kohli, however, is yet to comment on his retirement.
