Gautam Gambhir recently took a very strong decision of giving up the captaincy of Delhi Daredevils (DD). His fans were left stunned as nobody anticipated his decision. Moreover, they hadn’t speculated his absence in the playing XI too. In DD’s previous game, Gambhir was benched for the first time in this season and the fans were furious. Later, the end results made everyone happy as Shreyas Iyer played a captain’s knock to beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Now, when people realised that Gambhir was not in the playing XI yet again, they seem to be disappointed big time.
With this move, people are confused why DD’s former captain was being treated like this. Earlier this day, Gambhir took to his official media account and posted a picture in DD jersey, holding the bat.

After this post, fans seemed assured that the Delhi boy will be back in the team for tonight’s battle against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). But the final list of players taking the field tonight stifled all their hopes.
And now when he ‘s out of the team for the second consecutive game in this season, tweeps are emotional as they are missing them badly.
