Meanwhile, the win against Kolkata Knight Riders keeps their hopes of making it to the last four alive. They were at the bottom of the points table, but a change of captain seems to have worked wonders for Delhi Daredevils. Daredevils are now in the seventh spot with 2 wins in seven games.
With the magic figure usually 8, DD need to win six of their next seven games to make the all-important cut. But it seems the win against a formidable KKR has set the ball rolling for DD and it is up to them to keep the momentum going deep into the tournament.
