Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have made it into the finals of Indian Premier League (IPL) for the seventh time. They will be facing a resilient Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) who have been outstanding throughout the tournament, snatching wins away from their opponents. CSK have had a mixed bag of an experience playing at Wankhede stadium, Mumbai. They have won 6 out of 12 games played at the venue. On the other hand, SRH will not like to depend on their previous statistics as they have won just 1 game out of 5.
The toss for IPL 2018 final will be a crucial one as the team batting first has won 7 out of 10 finals till date. The pressure of finals gets to the team. It would not be a surprise if both the captains—MS Dhoni and Kane Williamson—opt to bat first.
Dhoni is set to become the only player to play 8 IPL finals, including the one he played for Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) in the previous edition. The CSK skipper is approaching another milestone. He needs to score 7 more runs to make this season his best in the batting department. He has scored 455 runs in 15 innings already.
With 2 more sixes, Dhoni will go past AB de Villiers’ tally of sixes (186). He will take the second spot in the list of most sixes by a batsman in IPL which is led by Chris Gayle (292 sixes). And, just one stumping will make him the wicketkeeper with the most number of stumpings, going past Robin Uthappa.
Suresh Raina is approaching a major milestone in the history of IPL as well. Raina has a chance to become the first batsman to reach the 5,000-run mark in IPL. The southpaw has scored 4,953 runs already. He needs just 47 runs to reach the milestone. If he manages to do it in the final, then he will be able to beat Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli to this feat. Kohli has 4,958 IPL runs to his name.

The record for most half-centuries is jointly held by Kohli and David Warner. Raina has a chance of going past AB de Villiers’ tally of sixes as well. The CSK batsman has 184 sixes to his name so far.
