Preity Zinta and Chris Gayle’s celebration after Kings XI Punjab’s win over Sunrisers Hyderabad was the moment that stole the show. KXIP beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 15 runs. But it would not have been possible without Chris Gayle exploits. Chris Gayle, who prefers to refer himself as the ‘Universe Boss’ slammed the first century of IPL 2018 to set the stage alight. Gayle’s 104 came off merely 63 balls, it was also his sixth IPL century. Gayle also bagged the Man of the Match for his scintillating batting.
Preity Zinta, who is the co-owner of the franchise has backed the players always. KXIP have never lifted the IPL crown, yet she always backs and motivates her players. We saw a glimpse of that last night after KXIP beat SRH. Zinta celebrated till late in the night with the KXIP team. In the video, we see how Gayle, as usual, is the centre of attraction. There is a cake in front of him, he is surrounded by all his teammates and the cake is finally cut.

But, here is what we found funny! Zinta was lovingly trying to feed Gayle with a piece of cake which was cut earlier and that is when Gayle refuses as he is busy downing his bottle of beer. Soon, Gayle is asked to cut a cake. He does it nicely and then he seemed confused with whom to feed. A confused Gayle finally decided to have it himself. Everybody in the video is in high spirits after the well-deserved victory.
KXIP will now travel to Kolkata to take on the eastern giants in their backyard, with a hope of maintaining the new-found momentum.
