JP Duminy, the all-rounder from South Africa, recently got a chance to play for Mumbai Indians (MI) after he was benched in the initial games. Though he couldn’t get to either ball or bat in his first game of this season, MI managed to pull out a much-needed victory against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 28. Ahead of their next game against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) on May 4, Duminy recalled his debut in this cash-rich tournament back in 2009.
Walking down the memory lane, Duminy stated how fascinated he was to share the dressing room at the age of 24 with some of the cricketing marvels including Sachin Tendulkar, Sanath Jayasuriya, Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh.
