Mumbai Indians player JP Duminy might not have had that superb Indian Premier League season 2018 as he is struggling with the bat. In 6 games, Duminy has just scored 36 runs, with the best being 23, this season.
However, the South African still manages to make the headlines, not for his cricketing skills but for showing off his football skills.
Ahead of Mumbai’s must-win match against Delhi Daredevils, MI players attended the practice session at the Ferozshah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi on May 19,
During the warm-up, MI players played football to improve their reflexes on the field. Duminy, who was bought by MI for Rs 1 crore during the IPL 2018 auctions, displayed some brilliant football skills as he went on to score three goals.
In a video posted by MI on their official Twitter handle, Duminy can be seen showcasing his dribbling skills. They captioned the video as: “JP’s got some skills!”

Meanwhile, eyeing a play-off berth, defending champions MI will take on DD in a must-win game at the Ferozshah Kotla on May 20.
While Delhi have nothing to lose after being already out of the race for the play-offs, the Rohit Sharma-led side still have a chance to advance to the next stage, which only a win in their last league encounter and a better net run-rate (NRR) could guarantee.
