Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) is all set to roar in its den when they take the field against the Delhi Daredevils (DD) on April 8 at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. Both the sides have appointed new captains for this season and their think tanks have roped in a strong bunch of cricketers from across the world. However, before the start of their journey in this season, fans have predicted the winner of the first match of the day and they are KXIP.
We at InUth conducted a poll on social media where we asked people who they think will win today’s first face-off. A majority of fans stand with Ravichandran Ashwin-led KXIP as it has got 58 percent of votes while Gautam Gambhir’s DD could only get 42 percent.

Ahead of the IPL opener between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings on April 7, the majority voted for MS Dhoni’s yellow army and which turned out to be real by the end of the day. All-rounder Dwayne Bravo’s fiery 68-run knock towards the end helped CSK to pull out a terrific win over the home team.

If the trends are to be believed today as well, then KXIP will win their first match in this tournament. But for the final results, we have to witness the game where Ashwin has won the toss and has elected to bowl first.
