Mumbai Indians (MI) are in a tough spot after losing three matches on the trot, all losses being in the final over. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are having a hard time as well, having lost two out of three matches they played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 so far. However, MI have not been beaten by RCB in the last two seasons. Overall, MI have won 13 games out of 21 against RCB.
Changes
Rohit Sharma has brought back Mitchell McClenaghan in the side in an attempt to tackle RCB’s batting-heavy lineup.
RCB have made three changes — they have replaced Brendon McCullum with Corey Anderson, all-rounder Pawan Negi has been replaced by Sarfaraz Khan and fast-bowler Mohammed Siraj will make his RCB debut this season.
We ran a poll on our Facebook page to know which team is more favoured to win the match. According to fans, RCB are way ahead of MI, maybe because of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers’ fan following.
