It’s Sachin Tendulkar’s 45th birthday and he is at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. So how can the crowd be silent? Just like the previous year, people arrived at one of the most iconic grounds of India on April 24 for two reasons. First, it is Mumbai Indian’s (MI) game tonight against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and secondly, to witness the ‘God of Cricket’—Sachin—and wish him on his birthday.
The crowd at the Wankhede sung the birthday song in unison to wish one of the greatest cricketers of the world — Sachin Tendulkar. His die-hard fan, Sudhir, was also present in the stands with his body painted in tri-colour and held the Indian national flag.

Just like last year, the fans at the Wankhede Stadium made @sachin_rt‘s birthday even more special.

On Sachin’s birthday, MI players also looked totally different on the field during the first innings. The bowlers delivered some lethal spells and restricted a strong-looking SRH at 118. While the bowlers were busy ripping apart the SRH batting line-up, Sachin cut the cake near the boundary line and thanked his fans for the wishes and support.
