Hailing from humble roots, MS Dhoni had become the toast of the nation when he took India to victory in World T20 Cup in 2007 and then helped India lift the 2011 Cricket World Cup. His following is comparable to that of a demi-god in India and he is also a global cricket ambassador. Critics had written off MS Dhoni ahead of the IPL, citing fitness and age as factors. But MS Dhoni silenced his critics in the best way possible, allowing his bat to do the talking and performing splendidly.
