IPL 2018: Prithvi Shaw Gets Emotional On-Field After Dropping Catch On His IPL Debut

IPL 2018: Delhi Daredevils skipper Gautam Gambhir won the toss and opted to field against Kings XI Punjab at the Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi

Prithvi Shaw, who made his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut for Delhi Daredevils (DD) on April 23, got a bit emotional on-field after he dropped a catch of a Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) batsman.

The 19-year-old Shaw, who led Indian U-19 to lift the ICC U-19 World Cup earlier this year, dropped the catch of KXIP’s batsman David Miller while fielding at extra cover.

The incident happened in the 15th over of Punjab’s innings when Miller played Amit Mishra’s delivery straight to Shaw at extra cover in the ring, but the debutant got nervous and failed to grab it with both hands.
