AB de Villiers has got unmatched batting skills! His execution of shots puts the opposition bowlers in confusion at times as they fail to see it coming. Famously nicknamed ‘Mr 360 degree’, ABD yet again did something on May 17 when he was batting against one of the toughest bowling sides of the Indian Premier League (IPL) — Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
De Villiers came to bat at number 3 after an early dismissal of Parthiv Patel in the very first over. Right away, he joined Virat Kohli at the crease and batted with all his guns ablaze. Firstly, he came up with yet another IPL fifty during the 12th over and later, in the 13th over, he hit a 105-meter six to Basil Thampi and the ball was seen going out of the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Both de Villiers and Moeen Ali batted in an outstanding manner and added a total of 107 runs for the third wicket. Unfortunately, in the 15th over, Rashid Khan turned out to be lucky enough to dismiss AB on 69, which he had scored off just 39 deliveries. Surprisingly, this huge six was the only biggie hit by the Protea batsman during his stint at the crease apart from 12 boundaries.

Post ABD’s dismissal, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) went on to lose 3 more wickets. However, an emphatic knock of 40 runs off just 17 balls from Collin De Grandhomme along with Sarfaraz Khan’s 8-ball 22 towards the end helped the home side successfully post a huge total of 218 in their quota of 20 overs.
