Rajasthan Royals (RR) would be hoping to win three matches in a row when they face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their next Indian Premier League (IPL) clash at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur on April 18.
Rajasthan announced themselves in the game with two back-to-back wins against Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). On the other hand, KKR are at Number 2 on the points table with two victories in four games. KKR have a better Net Run Rate than RR.

Before the match let’s have a look at a few interesting stats:
- KKR’s main spin-lead—Piyush Chawla—needs 5 more wickets to become the 2nd bowler with most wickets in IPL history. Lasith Malinga is at the top with 154 wickets under his belt.
- RR’s in-form batsman, Sanju Samson, needs to score 24 more runs to snatch the orange cap from RCB skipper Virat Kohli who is leading the chart with 201 runs.
- KKR’s striking batsman Andre Russell is also in the race to grab the orange cap from RCB skipper Virat Kohli. Russell needs 49 more runs to surpass Virat’s tally of 201
- KKR’s Robin Uthappa is just 8 runs away from becoming the second-highest run-scorer for Kolkata in IPL history. KKR’s former skipper Gautam Gambhir is at Number 1 with 3035 runs followed by another ex-KKR player Yusuf Pathan who has scored 1893. Uthappa is at No 3 with 1886 runs.
